A Penumbra is the tertiary space where shadow meets the light and gets feathered out. Technically it is not part of a shadow. But light also moves around it. It exists in a liminal state.
One of our earliest concrete pouring experiments, the Penumbra stool is part of a pair, but can be purchased separately. Poured in nimbus-grey concrete and suitable for indoors or outdoors, it is a wonderful seat for stargazing or an interesting side table or plinth for displaying other objects.
The Penumbra Stool is a one-off special project that is sold in sample condition.
