An Umbra is the darkest part of a shadow, what we see move across the face of the sun or the moon during the totality phase of an eclipse. But shadow owes its birth to light.
One of our earliest concrete pouring experiments, the Umbra stool is part of a pair, but can be purchased separately. Poured in nimbus-grey concrete and suitable for indoors or outdoors, it is a wonderful seat for stargazing or an interesting side table or plinth for displaying other objects.
The Umbra Stool is a one-off project that is being solid in sample condition.
