Terms & Conditions


Small items are shipped directly from our studio located in Portland Oregon within 5 days of completion. We ship domestically with FedEx Ground, FedEx SmartPost or FedEx Home Delivery. FedEx Ground and Home Delivery shipments are delivered within 1–5 business days depending on the location and FedEx SmartPost can take up to 7 business days. For international shipments, we use FedEx International Economy and USPS Priority International.

Medium-sized items such as side tables are packed securely in foam-lined boxes and shipped domestically and internationally via FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery or FedEx International Economy. Larger items such as cabinets, concrete chairs, or terrazzo slabs are crated and shipped via FedEx Freight or a similar logistics provider. For orders shipping within Portland Oregon we also offer local delivery using van and white-glove services.

White glove shipping can be arranged domestically as well for an additional fee.

We reserve the right to change shipping carriers at any time. 


Lead Times

Lead times are explicitly stated on each product page but generally average 4-12 weeks. Certain factors beyond our control may further delay delivery, particularly when large or heavy furniture is shipped across country or internationally. We do our very best to keep you updated in regard to the E.T.A. of your piece, but claim no responsibility for delays caused by third party carriers like FedEx, UPS, or the USPS.


Rush Orders

In some cases it may be possible to produce a piece much more quickly than our stated lead time. If you need a piece immediately, please contact us before placing an order. We will respond within 24 hours to your request. Rush orders are subject to a 15% surcharge and cannot be cancelled.


Limited Warranty

All of our products come with a 1 year warranty. This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during a 1 year period. We will repair or replace (at our discretion) products or parts that prove defective due to improper material or workmanship.

The buyer will pay any shipping, packaging, installation and uninstallation costs. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser or an authorized reseller. Proof of purchase must be provided to receive any services under this warranty.

This warranty excludes:

  • Natural variations that occur in wood grain or gemstone terrazzo
  • Damage caused by neglect, abuse, improper care or normal wear and tear
  • Damage incurred during shipping that is not reported in the 5 day period (see Damaged Merchandise)
  • Water Damage
  • Corrective work undertaken by anyone who is not an agent of New Age Design


Refunds and Returns

Each piece we make is made to order. We do not offer refunds. If you are unhappy with merchandise, please contact us within 5 days and we will evaluate your request on a case-by-case basis.


Damaged Merchandise

If you receive damaged merchandise, please contact us within 5 days with photographs showing the damage. If you have already signed a bill of lading with a third party carrier we may not be able to offer a refund or exchange. All shipped merchandise is insured for the value of the piece. Shipping is non-refundable.



You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by writing to hello@newagedesign.studio and notifying us of your decision. Beyond that point cancellation may still be possible as long as your piece has not gone into production. We do not accept cancellations on rush orders or custom pieces.
